From a common theme of Alcohol in the family, from her mother, herself, her husband, etc, to domestic violence, and the loss of a brother. Carolyn speaks on how she became an author, and speaker but certainly impacted but not imprisoned.

Carolyn E. Blake is a native of Johns Island, South Carolina.  This power-filled vessel is the visionary and founder of Impacted But Not Imprisoned, a faith-based organization that helps women to overcome some of life’s challenges.  She positively impacts the lives of everyone she touches.  Carolyn has motivated countless women throughout South Carolina and helped them to find their inner strength.  At The Foot of The Cross and When Anxiety Steals Your Joy are two of the books that she authored and published.  She pours into others with her gifts of writing, speaking, and giving.  As a powerful speaker, she is heavily requested to speak at engagements throughout the Lowcountry.  A woman of God, wife, mother, grandmother, and entrepreneur are just a few of the roles that Carolyn holds.
